I thought I'd share 'Blue Lagoon', a piece I did a couple of years ago after finally perfecting my blending technique. It was bought by a local lady and this lead to me recreating the design on all her bedroom furniture; a large chest of drawers, two bedsides, a dressing table and stool and finally her kingsize bed 💙🌸💙

One of my Peacock cabinets sold to a fabulous couple recently and they asked me to customize a large 3foot coffee table with a impressionistic Peacock picture
A great tip is to add plenty of texture, especially with the top coat to give an overall oil painting effect

If you look at this piece on my last post, you'll notice the newly sanded wood has an orange tone - today I made a 'colour wash' (1 part paint x 3 parts water) simply brush it on, wait 1 minute and wipe it off. It gives a gorgeous subtle lime-washed look 🤍

Well it's time for this sweet little Edwardian sideboard to have some love and restoration

I've removed the old shellac; sanded back to the beautiful grain; added bead mouldings to the doors; made a new top, added trim to the edge and got a first coat of Weeping Willow on - well I did start at 6am 😁
