All jokes aside, AI can do many things, but surveying your property for asbestos isn’t one of them. We are seeing a vast amount of people using AI to determine whether materials contain asbestos or not, and it is simply not possible.

Asbestos content within a material can only be determined by lab analysis after being sampled by a competent, qualified individual. Self testing kits are proving to be popular although if used incorrectly they can provide false results due to contamination/poor sampling.

Asbestos in Soil 😷
A little throwback to a job we carried out a while back for a property developers site. We carried out an asbestos survey in which we uncovered approximately 120 tons of asbestos cement buried from a historical demolition. We worked with another contractor to provide the safe removal of the contaminated soil quickly and efficiently, to ensure the project could continue with minimal disruption.
