We dismantled a large conifer with BT cables running through it, carefully working around the cables to bring it down safely 🌲📡

We also felled a holly tree and finished the job off by grinding out the stumps, leaving the area neat and ready for the next stage 🪵 Another job done safely and efficiently by the team! 💪🌳

While we were working at Ramsey St Mary’s, we had a fantastic surprise from the next-door neighbour, who brought out his two World War trucks! It was a brilliant little bonus to an already busy few days on the trees 🌳 And definitely something you don’t see every day while out at work!

A great reminder that you never quite know what you’ll come across on a job! 😄

4 Days in Ramsey St Mary’s 🌳🐝

A busy 4-day job in Ramsey St Mary’s, carrying out a re-pollard of 16–18 poplar trees. 🌳 We also worked alongside UKPN with a power line shutdown, allowing us to safely reduce some conifers that had become tangled up in the power lines ⚡

One poplar had to be left standing for now, though - it has a honey bee nest 🐝🍯

We’ll leave it undisturbed until the colder weather, when it can hopefully be dealt with safely and with the bees in mind.

Another big job completed safely, with plenty of teamwork and some very important wildlife considerations along the way! 💪🌳🐝
