Kelp harvest season has flown by this year, and we've been elbow deep in seaweed, so not had time to post news updates. But we have filled a lot of bags with seaweed! We had a brilliant team to power us through 😎👌 # kelpfarming

KelpCrofters were excited to be involved with a three day Whale Disentanglement Workshop last week. The course was delivered by the Scottish Entanglement Alliance, and our boats, Ailsa and the RIB, were used to provide practical training in disentanglement scenarios. Around 25+ creel fishermen, fishfarm staff and the odd seaweed farmer received great tuition from the tutors. The waters around Scotland are now a bit safer for the growing whale population. and Alex Glasgow
