Yesterday I went up to see Loz Denis on day 15 of his incredible run, and what a day it turned out to be.
At around 11:30pm on Tuesday night, after a couple of beers, I had the mad idea to head up early the next morning and run the day with him.
No training. No real preparation. Just turned up and somehow managed to complete my first ever marathon.
That says everything about Loz. His energy, mindset and determination just pull you along. What he’s doing is unbelievable, and to see first-hand the effort, pain, support and emotion behind this challenge was genuinely inspiring.
A massive thank you to Loz and the whole team for looking after me yesterday, keeping me going and making me feel part of it. I’m so happy and proud to be a small part of this amazing journey.
Loz is running the length of the UK for four incredible charities, and after yesterday I’ve got even more respect for what he’s taking on.
Please get behind him if you can — donate, share, comment, or simply show him some support. Every bit of encouragement helps.
