Making an entrance ✨

The entrance sets the tone for the entire home, the first impression for both your guests and for you coming home each day.

Our Allestree entrance is truly incredible… big enough to host its own party 🤍🙌🏼

Console tables for styling, hidden storage, statement mirrors, artwork with elegant picture lights, and even built-in storage within the staircase.

Keep sliding to see the before 👀 We opened the space up completely and now have sight lines of dreams.

The little things that make the ND Studio so special 🤍

1. The tap of dreams obviously, and not just a tap. Boiling, chilled filtered, sparkling water AND a pull-out hose. Couldn’t survive a busy studio day without it now!
2. My Nan’s crystal tumbler & decanter set, having a piece of her here with me on this journey means more than I can explain.
3. The marble vanity aka ‘the sink of dreams’. Heavy burgundy veining paired with the ribbed fluted front, perfection.
4. Statement lighting, what is a space without a focal point? This light is ICONIC.
5. The original Bay Tree bar, keeping original features was so important to me, so we transformed the marble bar into a breakout seating area.
6. The framed screen, built into the old bar, it’s become the most beautiful presentation space and brings the studio to life all day long.
7. The marble desk, a gift from a very special client years ago. I always said it would be my desk one day when I got a studio space, and now it is.
8. The marble archway, created from two load-bearing pillars and turned into one of my favourite features in the whole studio.
9. The ND backlit sign, Iconic. Enough said.
10. The tile shelf, a dedicated space for samples has genuinely been the best thing ever.
11. The manifestation frames, two filled with magazines we’ve already featured in, the others waiting for what’s next, watch this space! 👀

Every corner of this studio tells part of our story and I still can’t believe it’s ours 🥰🤍

What’s your favourite feature? 👀

Here she is… the pantry of dreams ✨

I’ve had soooo many DMs about this space, so here she is in all her glory. Absolutely stunning and perfectly functional.

One of the biggest non-negotiables we’re seeing more and more from clients is a walk-in pantry and honestly, I can see why 🤍

Before we start designing any kitchen or space, we take every client through a very detailed questionnaire to understand exactly how they live and what they truly need… right down to the very last detail.

Because beautiful design should work beautifully too ✨

So apparently… I have a signature style. Secret doors!! 🤍

I’ve heard it mentioned so many times now, and honestly? It makes me laugh, smile, and feel a little wowed that people see something and think, “Nikki does that.”

But the truth is… I really do LOVE a secret door.

I hate when a space feels too door-heavy, so wherever I can, I love to disguise them and make them part of the design instead of just a functional necessity.

Sometimes that’s a hidden pantry like this dreamy one at our Allestree project. I even have one going into the garage in my own kitchen. But it’s not just kitchens… I use them everywhere if it enhances the flow and feel of a home.

Utility rooms, hidden hallways, dressing rooms, en-suites off bedrooms… if there’s an opportunity for a secret door, I’m probably taking it.

So yes… the rumours are true 😂

What do you think to this hidden pantry door at Allestree? ✨

EAT, DRINK & BE MERRY!! 🥂✨

Grateful doesn’t quite cover it.
The party season is here, glasses raised, and celebrating in the new studio was truly one for the books.

A special moment, wrapped in gratitude, pride, and so much joy one that will live in my heart forever 🤍

Thank you for all the love and support.
Happy holidays to you all,
ND

December so far…

What can I say.
Every year I promise myself I’ll be more prepared and in some ways, I really am! However we’re also getting busier and growing year on year 🤍

And who could have imagined we’d be in our very first studio this December.
To say I feel overwhelmed and grateful is an understatement.

We’re only halfway through the month and we’ve already:
• Welcomed new clients
• Continued juggling an abundance of ongoing projects quietly progressing in the background
• Hosted our very first workshops in the studio
• Finally peeled the stickers off the windows
• Held client meetings in our space
• And, of course, partied hard in there 🥂

December is always one of our busiest months professionally, while personally it’s full of the things I live for! school activities I won’t miss, festive moments, and trips to see Santa ✨

December, you’ve been busy, beautiful… and we’re only halfway through 🤍
