A few pictures of something we’ve been doing recently, deer fencing for planting sites around one of the new National Grid / Siemens sites at Necton. Part of a 12km job where blocks of land surrounding the new sites are being planted up to shield it. Ongoing and will be for some time…welcome to the home of H&S and Hi -viz….

Toying with going to a tri-axle 10ft plant as opposed to twin…. Anyone else running tri-axles , if so what’s the verdict?

At the end of a very interesting project, 5k of fencing under the ‘Biodiversity net gain’ scheme. A way of creating and improving natural habits with the landowner setting aside blocks of land to plant up and dig ponds etc with a view to sell these ‘biodiversity units’ to developers to offset their impact environmentally.
Mainly to exclude deer , the smaller varieties, muntjac, Fallow, Chinese water deer etc. Conscious of the visual impact we choose a lower 11/150/15 deer net coupled with 1200m 19 gauge rabbit netting , clipped , and pegged down (yet to be done)
All in all a very satisfying job.

A new type of post and rail this time, the invisible type….! Long standing customer wanted a ménage revamp , new post and rail on one side with two 8” boards, with the other three sides taken down and replaced with just the two 8” boards…. if your horse is well behaved it doesn’t need boundaries…..

Another busy year has flown by and it’s time for the Aylsham show , the grand ring and associated fencing works that all go along with it. So much work goes into that one day show and I am always very proud to be associated with it, raising over a million pounds for numerous local charities that all benefit from this great show since it started

Dog pens aplenty….. another one finished, just outside Happisburgh. Tornado HT 19/180/5 complete with the optional ‘groundskirt’
All creo timber, 12ft corner poles boxed. 12&4ft fully meshed gates.

This has been a nice little job, 2km of deer netting plus 1200mm 18 gauge rabbit netting to surround a new solar farm . 12ft telegraph poles used for corner strainers to ensure total strength and longevity.

Another day, yet another type of fencing. 1200metres of 6ft tall V-Mesh green panel security fencing around Norwich School playing fields. 400 panels , posts augered out and concreted in to provide a strong , secure perimeter.
Makes a pleasant change from the usual stock fencing.
