As many of you know, this project has been extremely close to my heart due to Amelia facing many similar challenges. I'm so grateful to have been a part of transforming this amazing mum's home- it's been a truly unforgettable experience. I'm honoured to have met and worked alongside some of the kindest most amazing volunteers who gave up their time to help such an incredible cause!

"In just 13 days, incredible volunteers from across the UK and Ireland came together in Foulden, Norfolk, to transform life for Toby, his mum Sarah and his siblings.

Toby, 16, was born 13 weeks early with cerebral palsy, dystonia and complex health challenges. He’s housebound and needs 24/7 care.

Shaun had begun an extensive home renovation, including a vital extension for Toby’s bedroom and wetroom. Tragically, Shaun took his own life on Christmas Eve, leaving the renovation unfinished.

That’s where Band of Builders stepped in — to finish what Shaun started, and more. Together with our volunteers, supporters and the project sponsor DEWALT we completed a full home renovation"
