Medieval Masonry ⚜️REPAIR•REFURBISH•REINVENT⚜️
Medieval Masonry is a building contractor specialising in the restoration and conservation of historic and listed buildings.

Medieval Masonry are more than just stone specialists. We do not use the word “medieval” lightly (ironically, nor do we spell it traditionally). During the Medieval period, the stonemason was regarded as the architect, he knew how to set out, what materials to use and how to source them, he was the quality control, site manager and many other disciplines. We are not architects but we do understand

the building processes of historic buildings which allows us to repair or restore in the traditional way using traditional methods. At Medieval Masonry we will never compromise the integrity of the building or sacrifice the quality of our work. We are aware that financial constraints mean that sometimes repairs are necessary where the preferred method would be to rebuild but with our vast experience we can offer solutions that are sympathetic to the building and use local or reclaimed materials to find a solution working within the confines of conservation principles

These images were made as part of a planning application and listed building consent to remove the cement render in the hopes to take the walls back to brickwork. We are very pleased to announce that the planning application was approved.

The images were made in house using a combination of onsite 3d scanning, 3d modeling, re-texturing, rendering and photoshopping.
