⚡ Not a bad location for a Sunday evening callout... ⚡

A call from a beautiful holiday let in Perranporth with an RCD that wouldn't stay on.

After a bit of fault finding, I tracked the problem down to a junction box for the decking lights that had filled with water and was causing the tripping issue.

The faulty junction box was replaced with a weatherproof one, the circuit tested, and power restored just in time for the guests to enjoy the rest of their evening — and this incredible sunset 🌅

Great fun on site at this project in Scorrier this week fitting loose-wire underfloor heating following flood damage earlier in the year.

Floor levels were really tight to match the existing kitchen, so a 6mm decoupling mat was used with the heating wire fitted directly into it. Around 30m² in total, all controlled by a WiFi-enabled thermostat 📱

Next step is screed over the top, then a full slate floor laid by Interior Solutions — it’s going to look superb 👌
