📍 York – Garage Conversion

Another garage conversion completed to the stage requested by the customer, who’ll now be taking care of the remaining work himself.

Our work included installing an insulated floating floor, removing the garage door and replacing it with a new brick wall, stone sill, and window. At the rear of the property, we removed a section of brickwork, fitted new stone sills and heads, and installed a new window. We also created access into the new living space by opening up part of the kitchen-to-garage wall.

A great transformation with the space now ready for the next stage.

Wetherby job frontage complete.

This one was a tricky one as we were not just bricking up where the old garage door was but the old gate through to the rear too. With the courses not lining through from the garage to the existing porch it created a challenge to make it look right but we got there in the end! As one job ends, another 1 begins….or 3!

Thorpe Audlin. This unused double garage has been transformed into a self-contained annex. A retired couple sold their home and chose to convert this garage, attached to their daughter’s property, into their new living space.

Another project underway in Doncaster, we’re finding ourselves working in this area more and more these days!

This is another Gleeson Calry build that’s quickly nearing completion. These homes are proving especially popular for garage conversions, as the garage sits just off the kitchen, which can feel a bit tight on space.
