Welcome to the orange grove! What a beauty. I could see from the underside in her beautiful finely knotted goodness that these colours would be particularly juicy. She does not disappoint! What a joy. I’ve put her in the new arrivals section of the website. Knotted by the wonderfully talented weavers of Afghanistan. The size is 10 x 8 feet or 300 cm x 245 cm. Absolutely gorgeous! Em x

I really love this! So unusual and beautiful with the most incredible background of deep mustard. Just look what this luxurious condiment of a colour does to the design elements picked out in jammy red and burnt marmalade. It’s just so wonderful. There is a cheeky eucalyptus green which lends a little highlight to the earthier tones and the border is the same as the background field. There is so much space within that border allowing that beautiful chunky vine laden with peonies to encircle the piece as a whole. The size is 10 x 8 feet. All details are on the website link in bio. Alas I did not manage to get to Chelsea Flower Show this year but I was inspired all the same and spent the best part of today digging a giant hole in my garden. I bought a dog wood (cornus, I think) and finally got around to getting it in the ground. I always think that after a spot of arduous gardening it’s such a treat to bring your rug outside to sit on to enjoy either a picnic or cup of tea. Not only is it so much nicer than your average picnic blanket but your carpets will thank you for it. They love a spot of sun and a freshen up! Enjoy le weekend. Em x

The weekend is calling or maybe it’s the garden centre! You know that bank holiday feeling/ certain age/ going in for a viola and coming out with a tree. You know how it goes! Anyway, before I dash off I thought it only fair to leave you with a colourful beauty of a different kind. Get a load of this karakul in pink and grape. This is a gorgeous one! The biggest roll down I’ve ever done! Believe me when I say this was heavy. Definitely deserve a couple of donuts now. But come on! What a beauty. Oh come on! How much do you love this one! Look at this background colour of pea green. It’s just so fresh and nutritious! The colour combinations within this palette are simply dreamy. Oh my goodness! How gorgeous is this beauty! Creamy ecru background colour which spreads so elegantly into the border giving it a fresh and contemporary feel. But, hold on because when you explore the palette you discover such timeless notes as antique blue and dusty rose. I love the apricot which gives a jammy hint of pure delight amongst the taupe and chocolate. Isn’t she dreamy! I have put her online for you. Just gorgeous! Em x

Morning! You know that feeling when you get yourself a beautiful carpet and you just want to roll up inside her and enjoy all of her earthy goodness. Well this beauty is one of those.
