Spatializing the Journey | Yueji Library & Bookstore ✨��

Following our win at the BIG SEE Awards, we wanted to share a closer look at the heart of the 悦己书店 Yueji Library. 📖�

Our vision was to create a "walk of knowledge." In this space, we explored the harmony between heritage and light—pairing existing red brick with custom-illuminated glass. To bring the tactile soul of a book to life, we clad 7-meter-high surfaces in recycled strawboards that mimic the texture of paper, accented by the vibrant energy of Yves Klein Blue.��Bathed in the natural light of continuous skylights, the library evokes the vastness of the Inner Mongolian grasslands—turning the act of reading into a physical, spatial journey.

It is a profound moment for our studio to see this project resonate so deeply on the world stage. Being recognized by BIG SEE follows our journey as a Finalist for the World Architecture Festival 2024 (Inside Awards) in the Public Buildings category. To have Yueji celebrated twice globally is a testament to the power of thoughtful, intentional design.

We are quietly moved and immensely proud to share that Enviro Tec has been named a winner at the BIG SEE Interior Design Awards 2026 – Civic Category. ✨ Alongside with other Prestigious design firms from China and globally.

Established in 2018 by the Ljubljana-based BIG SEE Awards originated as a platform to showcase the creative depth of Southeast Europe. Over the past eight years, the initiative has rapidly expanded into a premier international design competition, transcending regional borders to become a global benchmark for excellence. Evaluated by a distinguished international jury, the awards honor projects that achieve a masterly balance of innovation, environmental integrity, and functional intelligence, culminating annually at the BIG SEE Festival in Portorož, Slovenia.

Receiving this international recognition is a meaningful reflection of our commitment to design that breathes. For us, it is a celebration of the 'unseen' details: where meticulous planning meets the quiet, effortless functionality that defines the soul of a home

The journey, however, does not end here. We are equally thrilled to announce our nomination for the prestigious Grand Prix Interior Award. We are now counting down the days to the BIG SEE Festival in Portorož this May 21-22, where the final honors will be unveiled.
This milestone belongs to the hands that drew the lines and the clients who trusted the vision. To our team, our partners, and the BIG SEE organization: thank you for seeing the heart in our work.

𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟 - 𝗔 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲

At No. 55 Yuyao Road, Shanghai, a compact shophouse is being transformed into 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 , a 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝗮́𝗻𝗵 𝗺𝗶̀ 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 that embodies the vibrant spirit of street food culture.

The interior concept draws inspiration from the wild, natural spirit of the brand name itself—Feral—and from the vibrant colours, textures, and tropical freshness of bánh mì ingredients. Warm tones reminiscent of crusty bread, accented by vivid hues of chili, cilantro, and pickled vegetables, inform the palette of tiles, rattan, wood, and steel, creating a tactile and immersive dining environment.

Designed and developed within a fast-track one-month period, construction is set to begin soon—transforming this small-scale site into a spatial narrative of flavour, culture, and design.

Sindora Living is a premium senior living brand dedicated to redefining aging through a holistic, engaging, and care-driven lifestyle. The first Sindora Living building is located in Nanjing, China.

To achieve the highest standards of senior living across various aspects, Sindora Living collaborated with Envirotec Creatives as part of Creative Strategy scope. The goal was to redefine Sindora Living current system through our innovative ideas, in-depth research, and benchmarking standards across service, facility design, and operations, resulting in the creation of the “Book of Standards.”

The “Book of Standards” consists of three volumes, Service Positioning Guidebook (SPG), Facility Design & Build (FDB) and Quality Management System (QMS). These three books consolidate knowledge, best practices, and principles to guide every aspect of Sindora Living’s operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to their residents.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Sindora Living Team and Keppel for trusting Envirotec Creatives and our team to contribute to this meaningful project.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗢𝗻𝗲 小野 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 has been named a finalist at the 𝗗𝗲𝘇𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁-𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆. This incredible milestone highlights the seamless collaboration of our cross-border teams in Indonesia and China.

Being recognized by Dezeen Awards China among such exceptional projects is a tremendous honor. Special thanks to Byo Living and Kudos for this amazing journey set foot together a year ago documenting our Global project in Inner Mongolia. We are so proud to partake our achievement this year in World Architecture Festival held in Singapore.
