𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟 - 𝗔 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲

At No. 55 Yuyao Road, Shanghai, a compact shophouse is being transformed into 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 , a 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝗮́𝗻𝗵 𝗺𝗶̀ 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 that embodies the vibrant spirit of street food culture.

The interior concept draws inspiration from the wild, natural spirit of the brand name itself—Feral—and from the vibrant colours, textures, and tropical freshness of bánh mì ingredients. Warm tones reminiscent of crusty bread, accented by vivid hues of chili, cilantro, and pickled vegetables, inform the palette of tiles, rattan, wood, and steel, creating a tactile and immersive dining environment.

Designed and developed within a fast-track one-month period, construction is set to begin soon—transforming this small-scale site into a spatial narrative of flavour, culture, and design.

Sindora Living is a premium senior living brand dedicated to redefining aging through a holistic, engaging, and care-driven lifestyle. The first Sindora Living building is located in Nanjing, China.

To achieve the highest standards of senior living across various aspects, Sindora Living collaborated with Envirotec Creatives as part of Creative Strategy scope. The goal was to redefine Sindora Living current system through our innovative ideas, in-depth research, and benchmarking standards across service, facility design, and operations, resulting in the creation of the “Book of Standards.”

The “Book of Standards” consists of three volumes, Service Positioning Guidebook (SPG), Facility Design & Build (FDB) and Quality Management System (QMS). These three books consolidate knowledge, best practices, and principles to guide every aspect of Sindora Living’s operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to their residents.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Sindora Living Team and Keppel for trusting Envirotec Creatives and our team to contribute to this meaningful project.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗢𝗻𝗲 小野 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 has been named a finalist at the 𝗗𝗲𝘇𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁-𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆. This incredible milestone highlights the seamless collaboration of our cross-border teams in Indonesia and China.

Being recognized by Dezeen Awards China among such exceptional projects is a tremendous honor. We extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated team, whose relentless effort made this achievement possible. This accomplishment is a testament to the harmonious collaboration with clients, material vendors, the talented artisans furniture & styling. Winners will be announced live at the awards party in Shanghai this December, with the results published across Dezeen Awards China’s platforms, including their website, social media, and WeChat.

The World Architecture Festival 2024 is known for its continuous excellence in promoting creative projects around the world. This year with over 140 leading architects, designers, media personnel, and industry experts participated this event in Singapore this November.

Our heartfelt appreciation extends to the relentless efforts of our dedicated team. The symphony of collaboration and communication with clients, material vendors, furniture & styling artisans. Lastly our long continuous media support & collaborator .kudos forging unforgettable moments when the teams came to Ordos Inner Mongolia to film the entire project.

A Synopsis about Yueji
Yueji 悦己 means Pleasure found within- stems from the concept of repurposing an existing red brick building into a multi-adaptive cultural 1100 sqm Ordos City public space.

Reading is the starting point of cultural edification and growth. Yueji 悦己 design narrative is simple, the nomadic lifestyle of the grassland and regenerative growth where the trail becomes the main support system of reading environments.

“H Series Mini Console” emerges from the concept of a simple box, embodying multifunctionality and versatility. This elemental design evolves into a container of delight, a console platform for your personal music box, a storage niche for vinyls or wine or books, seamlessly adapting to various needs. As a platform, it gracefully holds books or vinyl displays on adjustable shelves, effortlessly moving on discreet wheels beneath. Custom-finished with a soothing green hue and topped with terrazzo, the bar encapsulates the natural island life theme, blending practicality with the serene aesthetics of A Vinyl Place.

Weaving together the 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀 inspired by the 𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 and the 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘁.

Key programs and features include an art experience, creative play, and bar drinks, meticulously divided into three distinct areas that extract the sensory journey, within essence of sound, aroma, and visual experiences, thoughtfully curated nooks, display backdrops, platforms, niches, and containers. The lighting, with its indirect linear accents, highlights the beams and bathes the space in a sunburst orange sunset glow.
