Storm held up our binder delivery this week 🌧️ and it arrived in the nick of time 😅

Not the glamorous part of the job, but this is what goes on in the yard before the floors go down. The binder goes in and we're set to get back to work.

A big one for us this week: a big screed job at Sackville Place, Dublin 1.

Getting a mobile screed factory into the middle of the city takes some planning. The lorry is set up on site, the underfloor heating is down and the hose has been run out along the corridor, ready for the Ultraflo pour.

We'll be following this job as it goes in. Follow the page so you catch Part 2.

If you've ever laid insulation over a subfloor, you know how tedious it can be. Uneven surfaces and the painstaking task of cutting around first-fix pipes can easily drain your time and patience.

That's the whole difference between rigid boards and poured energystore TLA. Boards have to be cut and fitted around every wall and pipe, which leaves offcuts and joints. Poured insulation goes down in one pour, right to the wall edge, as a continuous base with no joints and 0% waste.

This is Part 3 of 3 on why builders are switching to poured floor insulation. Follow the page for more real jobs.

Part 2 of 3 on why builders are switching to poured floor insulation: how fast it actually goes down.

Laying rigid board means measuring, cutting and fitting every piece around walls and pipework. With poured energystore TLA, the hose goes in and the insulation goes down in one pour, right to the wall edge. It goes down with unrivalled installation speed against traditional methods, as a continuous base with no joints and 0% waste. Energystore says you can walk on it in 24 hours (48 in winter).
