For this garages corners, the owner chose not to fully replace the weatherboards just yet, as they plan to do a complete replacement in two years when they get back from overseas. Instead, they asked for a solid temporary fix, essentially putting a bandaid on the wound to keep it sealed and protected in the meantime.
We dug out the rotten timber, stabilized the area, and filled, shaped, and sanded the boards back flush. Next step: a full repaint to keep it looking fresh and weather-tight until the big replacement down the road!
