Senior Refrigeration Service Engineer – Auckland Based
Due to rapid growth and continued success across the wider Auckland area, Varcoe Refrigeration is seeking a motivated Senior Refrigeration Service Engineer to join our high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to take the next step in their HVAC/R career within a well-established and reputable company.

The Role Based in Auckland, the role includes:
Performing on-site preventative maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems
Installing climate control and refrigeration systems
Commissioning and tracking performance of new installations
Diagnosing and repairing refrigeration and HVAC system faults
Processing and completing work orders accurately and efficiently
Observing and testing newly installed systems to ensure performance and compliance
Key Requirements The successful candidate will have:
Refrigeration Trade Qualification and Limited Electrical Licence
Electrical Service Technician (EST) Certification – Essential
Strong electrical fault-finding expertise in control systems and commercial refrigeration equipment
Approved Filler/Handler Certificate
A clean and full New Zealand driver’s licence
Proven experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration, central plant HVAC systems incl. BMS & chilled water
A strong commitment to health and safety practices
Excellent organisational skills with strong verbal and written communication
A self-motivated, flexible, and proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Requirements:
