SHUG LIFE is a humble gangster Bach. She sits on a small site deep in the mount. ata got resource consent as we are maximising this valuable site. The curve of the original dwelling inspired the design which gives the strong structure elegance.

Shug Life is a Bach but not the sort you’re used to.

"R&G is a highly crafted and stylistically coherent interior that reinterprets 1970s design language with freshness and vitality.

Punches of colour and floating cabinetry elements lend visual lightness, while thoughtful joinery and finishes respectfully echo the era of the original build.

The design cleverly balances nostalgia with modern liveability, drawing on the homes architectural backstory to create a richly atmospheric environment.

The palette, detailing, and spatial choreography all contribute to an interior that feels grounded in its time while offering a renewed and elevated expression of it."

Our clients owned their (camp) site for years but grew to need a more permanent holiday home. Inspired by the classic NZ bach aesthetic, this project perfectly blends relaxation and immersion in a lifestyle. CORO GOLD is the perfect example of how modern prefabrication techniques can be used to create a beautiful and functional home that is both fast and efficient to build.

PAUANUI VICE /

Pauanui Vice sits on a wide elbow site at the extreme edge of Pauanui waterways in the Coromandel. Clients wanted a refined executive residence that could function like a Bach. The low slung modernist structure was born.
