Always a pleasure going to Beetopia NZ Ltd this time to help repair the mower and what a beastie this one is, a 3-blade Kubota with belt and electrical problems, happy owner and even happier dog!

I do like these Husqvarna ride on mowers, this one came in for a service and some fettling, a bent bull bar, an oil and filter change, replacement blade switch and a few other tweaks. Then we found the reason it wasn't behaving well was that chassis was starting to split at the diff mount, allowing the diff to move and the belt to jump off. Replacement parts are on back order with Husqvarna so the F&F solution - replacement braces and some industrial grade brackets may not be pretty but it's darned strong and will give the old girl a many more years of life!

Service booked for Easter next year.

Can't be fixed?

I love a challenge, and my customer is delighted, but the bad news is that I now have to buy myself one of these rather excellent Nespresso Barista milk frothers, wow this is much, much better than I expected it to be.

Sometimes you just meet the nicest people!

Two IKEA sofa's put together for the new seating area at Beetopia NZ Ltd in Point Wells. Grass the owner was even kind enough to give me my very own Honey tasting session.

If you haven't been, make sure to go one Saturday, they have everything from Beginners Beekeeping Courses to Bee Education for schools - Talks - Tours - the all important NZ Honey Tasting Experience and of course, Wax products and award winning Honey.

Grass made these her own with cushions and a great seating area setup, see the link below.

Last week featured more IKEA wardrobe builds,, 8 in fact for a family with 3 in the mud room and 5 in the master bedroom. I like building these but it was pretty tricky as you can see with the height, they are perfect for the space but it's a tight build. Still, that didn't stop us and the customer feedback was great!

New IKEA bed, underbed drawers, bedside units and tall drawers for Natalie and her girls, with a little help from Milly who was so excited. We hung the TVs once the Sparky had fitted the hidden sockets and thanks to the panelling getting them perfectly horizontal was easy 🤓

The TV in the lounge is probably the biggest 📺 I've ever seen!
