For ASA EXPO 2026, we designed every pavilion with teardown day in mind from day one. Considering how materials could be reused, returned, or given a new purpose after the exhibition ended.

Because temporary architecture doesn’t have to mean temporary value or material waste.

Design for the event. Think beyond the event.

Honored to share that Looklen Architects has received the Creative Green Award, under the Creative Social Impact Awards at the Creative Excellence Awards 2026, presented by the Creative Economy Agency (CEA).

Our awarded initiative, Next Use, began with one simple but critical question:

“After the event ends, where does all the material go?”

For ASA EXPO 2026, we designed six pavilions with teardown day in mind from day one. Materials were carefully selected, designed, and assembled so their value would extend beyond the exhibition—whether through reuse, returning them to their original product owners, or adapting them for new contexts.

For us, sustainability is not something considered after a project is complete. It is a design decision made from the very beginning.

This recognition reinforces our belief that temporary architecture does not have to result in temporary value—or unnecessary material waste.

What happens after the exhibition ends matters just as much as what happens while it is there.

Site visit at our Khao Yai residence project. With the grading complete, we walked the land with K’ananda everingham to read the topography, discuss orientation and let the site inform what comes next. Architecture begins long before the first wall goes up.

What are we really building?

This year, The Secret Sauce SUMMIT 2026 asks a timely question through its theme, The Age of Builders. Reminder that the future isn’t something we wait for, but something we build.

We’re proud that our founder, Nuttapol Techopitch, has been invited as one of this year’s featured speakers, joining leaders from across industries to share ideas on how today’s builders are shaping tomorrow.

At Looklen, we believe architecture builds far more than buildings. It shapes how people live, how brands connect with people, and how design contributes to businesses, cities, and society.

We’re looking forward to sharing this perspective at the Summit this September—and to meeting fellow builders who believe that great design doesn’t just create spaces, but creates impact.
