Not sure the old JD would have lifted this wet wood into the dump truck. I was thankful for the Beaver Built roll-off (made locally in Hartford) provided by ThatGuyWithaTrailer (Sioux Falls).

Kept busy removing these three trees (climbed and rigged one). Also trimmed up two other trees on this job but of course when I get working I don't think about taking pictures.

Nice size tree removal in SF. No bucket truck access no problem! We got the ropes out and I got to climbing. After grinding the stump we cleaned out the chips, brought in some black dirt and threw some grass seed down.

This tree was flowing like a river! You can hear it fizzing. Anyone know where the shutoff valve is?

Spending a little time splitting today. The woodpile keeps growing a little at a time.
Forgot before and after pictures but here are parts of the big stumps I had to trim down before grinding this week.

Well yesterday didn't quite go as planned. Started out good until the crimped end of a hydraulic hose blew off in the boom!
After a bunch of running around for parts and some assistance from the ground I was able to get a new hose temped in and boom safely down.
After all that excitement I decided it's best I inspect and replace all the hydraulic hoses before further use so the old girl will be out of service the next week or so for repairs.
