So just know — while I’m on the way to fix YOUR air conditioning, I’m out here sweating right along with you. The only difference is you’re in the house… and I’m flying down the highway smelling like tire shine and hard work. 🤣🚐💨

Truck said: “You thought.” ❌🥵

But we keep rolling. Nothing’s stopping me from getting to my customers today. If you see me sweating extra hard, shirts soak and wet, pulling into the driveway… just mind your business and point me toward the thermostat. 😂🙏❄️

HOW SAFE IS YOUR FURNACE???
Please read! We may have saved this customers life!

On 01/03/25 I received a phone call from a new customer along with photo of their furnace flue pipe in pieces. Upon arrival I confirmed the flue pipe was rotted in half and all flue gasses were venting directly into the basement. Appears to have been happening for aong time based in the mold on the floor joists above. The customers carbon monoxide(CO) detector had also been beeping but they thought it was a bad battery or false alert and disconnected it. The furnace was installed improperly years ago(side job) and the flue pipe should never had run the way it was. We were unable to offer any repairs.

We ended up replacing the old unsafe furnace with a HEIL, 97% Efficient, 2 stage high efficiency gas furnace which qualifies for an energy tax credit. They also opted for a new Aprilaire humidifier, along with a Honeywell air cleaner, and wifi thermostat.
After the old furnace we remove we also found several cracks throughout the heat exchanger. This furnace had been unsafe for years.

Just because your furnace is working and heating the house does NOT mean it is safe. A heat exchanger is not a moving part so your furnace does not shut off when you start to develope cracks or holes. This puts you at risk of getting CO in your home or it can cause a fire from flame rollout. Most modern furnaces do have flame rollout protection but ultimately it is best to have your furnace checked out for your families safety.

Lastly, PLEASE make sure you have at least 1 functioning smoke/CO detector in your home. It is best to have one on every level but 1 is better than none. It doesn't matter how new your house or furnace is or even if it is all electric. It can save your life!
