Here's some opening day pictures from The Apopka International Spring Orchid Festival yesterday! We're in the middle of bringing out new orchids into the showroom and restocking on all of your favorites. A bunch of the vendors are also in the process of restocking this morning so be sure to stop on by and check out all of the new goodies throughout the festival!

Today at The Apopka International Spring Orchid Festival, over 70 American Orchid Society Judges from all over the country flew in to participate in judging and among the many plants the teams looked at, one of our plants received the highest quality award ever given to any orchid in the world, a perfect 100 point First Class Certificate (FCC). This is the first time in over 100 years of American Orchid Society history that this has ever happened. Introducing Paphiopedilum Sunlight Anita 'Crystelle' FCC/AOS. The only way you will be able to see this historic plant in person is if you come to the festival this weekend April 11th to April 12th from 9am to 5pm! The vendors are all getting ready for The Apopka International Spring Orchid Festival this weekend! Here's a quick preview of some of the flowers that they are bringing out and there's plenty more that haven't even started to get unpacked. Three more days until the start of The Apopka International Spring Orchid Festival! Everyone is hard at work getting the plants ready for the displays and for sale and we just can't wait to have you all here. As always, this will be the largest orchid event of the year in Central Florida! We're starting to see all the plants that the vendors are bringing in, and they've got some really fun species and hybrids for you all as well. Remember to plan to stop by this Friday, April 10th through Sunday, April 12th at 2800 W. Ponkan Rd in Apopka, FL from 9 am to 5 pm!

We are so excited to announce the introduction of our newest Cattleya mericlone, Rlc. Pamela Delgado 'Krull's Purple Velvet'. Bright colors, strong fragrance and up to five flowers per inflorescence, this will be a showstopper! Since the very first one we bloomed, our remake of Cattleya Measuresiana has been a hybrid we instantly fell in love with and a couple weeks ago, we made history with one! This is Cattleya Measuresiana 'Krull's Hallelujah' FCC/AOS, the first orchid in the American Orchid Society's history to ever receive a 99-point flower quality award! This is just about as close to perfection as you can get - enjoy and happy growing. Thank you, Wes Newton, for the great award photo!
