Although the in-store sale for our Fourth of July Orchid Sale starts on Friday, July 3rd, our online sale starts today with one in five plants being added to the sale every day from now until Friday! Plants are ranging from 10%-50% off all week long - but things sell out quickly so be sure to grab them while you still can! Be sure to check back daily at 9 am EST to see what got added to the sale!

Earlier this year we received our 250th First Class Certificate (FCC), the equivalent of a gold medal in the orchid world, right in time for our nation's 250th Birthday and our Fourth of July Orchid Sale! Slipper orchids were the very first orchids in our collection with a single Paphiopedilum venustum igniting a lifelong love for orchids and it is an honor to have witnessed and taken a part in advancing the breeding of these fantastic orchids. Our 250th FCC is one of our hybrids, Paphiopedilum Krull's Comet 'Crystelle' FCC/AOS, a hybrid between Paphiopedilum rothschildianum and Paphiopedilum Paul Parks. Frank was walking through the greenhouses yesterday and found an adorable new Vanda seedling! This is a first bloom Vanda Krull's Little Naoki (V. Mem. Louis Hatos x V. Motes Purple Rain) and with six flowers on a tiny plant, it's got some great potential. We're going to be bringing out a small number of Frank's Vanda crosses out to sell during the Fourth of July Festival at the nursery from July 3rd to July 5th so be sure to stop by and check them out. We hope to see you all soon!
