This space went from seasonal to year-round usable —framed, insulated, new windows, and now fully heated + cooled.

Same footprint. Completely different experience.

Not every problem is visible at first glance.

What looked like a simple deck board replacement turned into something deeper—rotting joists, failing band boards, moisture trapped where it shouldn’t be.

So we didn’t patch it.

We fixed it right:
– Replaced all compromised structural elements
– Installed a v***r barrier to stop future damage
– Rebuilt the deck from the ground up

Because shortcuts cost more later. If your deck is aging, it might be more than surface-level.
