We’re looking for someone to join us at Bestow for 2-3 shifts per week, with Friday-Sunday availability required. Prior plant knowledge is a big plus will be given priority, but we’re happy to train the right person on the deeper plant care details.

In this one-hour course, we will cover:
- the basic types of houseplants
- the scientific benefits of having and caring for plants
- different lighting types and what they mean
- best watering practices
- common issues and how to deal with them: pests, fungus, over/under watering, etc.
- a q&a session for you to get all of the burning plant-related questions answered

Taking a break from our regular plant content to share an important update! Today I wrapped up meetings (on the coast, so it was a real sacrifice) and officially ended my 17th and final year of teaching.

I am beyond excited to pour all of my time and creative energy into Bestow, but if I’m honest, I’m feeling more emotional than I expected! I have been a teacher for my entire adult life, and this is a huge transition, but I feel incredibly fortunate to have found not one, but two careers that I adore.

For now, I’m letting myself sit with the bittersweetness of this transition. But underneath the sadness is so much gratitude, and a whole lot of excitement for what’s to come. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Bestow. 🤍
