Another special project officially opened its doors!

Through our work with Sunshine on a Ranney Day, our team had the opportunity to contribute to the design of the Children's Development Academy renovations as part of CDA’s Learn. Play. Serve. campaign.

The renovation added a new toddler classroom that doubled CDA’s toddler capacity, renovated bathrooms including a new ADA-accessible bathroom, and created new spaces for trainings, family programs, and community events.

Getting to come back for the ribbon cutting and see these spaces officially open, knowing they will help CDA serve even more children and families, made this one that much sweeter.

A project like this takes a team. Congratulations to CDA, SOARD, and all of the partners who helped bring it together: Randall-Paulson Architects, Trident Construction Group, Mohawk Flooring, MSI Atlanta, Real Floors, Inc, Construction Resources, Cambria, and Sunny & Ranney.

Hewer at The Crossing at Coal Mountain in Cu***ng, GA. is coming together!

As part of a larger mixed-use development, Hewer gives residents more than what’s inside the property itself. One of the best parts of a project under construction is getting to see what’s already taken shape while imagining what’s still to come.

Our team recently spent some time on site as we work to reimagine portions of the space with updated finishes. There’s something completely different about seeing a project three-dimensionally and walking it in person.

Furniture planning plays an important role in how an amenity functions for everyone who uses it.

Meeting ADA requirements is part of the design process, and that consideration carries into furniture planning too. The way furniture is placed can impact how someone moves through and uses an amenity, making accessibility an important part of the plan from the beginning.

Our partnership with Sunshine On A Ranney Day | Charity has always been about using our gifts.

We believe that when you have the ability to make a difference, you should. For us, that means renovating dream bedrooms, ADA bathrooms, and therapy rooms for children with special needs.

We’ve worked alongside SOARD for years and watching a family see their finished makeover for the first time is why we do this work.

The Sunny & Ranney Furniture Store in Roswell offers beautiful name-brand furniture, with sales generating funds for Sunshine on a Ranney Day, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has helped thousands of children over the last 14+ years.

What if you could physically walk through your project space before it was built?

Our team recently visited Walk Your Plans North Atlanta, where plans are projected at true scale to create an immersive, walkable experience of the design.

Seeing a project digitally gives us one perspective. Physically moving through it gives us another. At full scale, we can experience the proportions and spatial relationships in a completely different way before construction begins.

It’s another way to interact with the design and experience how it will translate into the build environment.
