The biggest night of the year for Sunshine on a Ranney Day is almost here, and we couldn't be more excited!
SOARD's biggest fundraiser of the year is here: the 14th Annual Gala on August 22nd, and tables are nearly sold out. Take a look at the invite and grab a spot — there's still time to be part of the night. It's magical watching the impact these families' lives have been changed.
For anyone who doesn't know them yet: SOARD is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Roswell, Georgia, that builds wheelchair-accessible bathrooms, dream bedrooms, and in-home therapy rooms for children with special needs and long-term illnesses — completely free of cost to families. Founded in 2012 by Peter and Holly Ranney, SOARD has been changing lives one space at a time ever since. If a table isn't the right fit, sponsoring a bedroom, bathroom, or therapy room makeover for a child who needs it makes just as big a difference.
Every child deserves a space that makes them feel safe, seen, and loved. A bedroom that feels like theirs. A bathroom that works for them. A therapy room built around who they are. For children with special needs, the right space changes everything — it unlocks independence, comfort, and confidence that transforms daily life for the whole family. There are still so many children waiting on the funding that makes these projects possible.
