Nandina Home & Design is an interior design firm focused on reflecting their clients’ style and lives throughout their homes. The team of professional interior designers bring a wealth of knowledge to the job and are skilled in all aspects of design, ranging from simple paint and fabric choices to full scale construction projects. Whether your style is traditional, eclectic, modern or contemporary

, Nandina Home & Design professionals have the expertise to assist you in making your home the best expression of you. In 2006, owners Jim and Susan Victor and Sue Shannon opened the flagship location in downtown Aiken, South Carolina with a belief that beautiful design and real life can coexist under one roof. Their “real life, real style” motto simplifies the philosophy that kids, dogs, parties and life do happen and no one needs to skimp on glamorous living because of them. In 2010, Nandina launched their second location in Atlanta, which has since relocated to Sandy Springs, Georgia. The most recent location, opened at the end of 2020 is located in vibrant downtown Greenville, South Carolina. All three Nandina Home & Design lifestyle showrooms are a vehicle for clients to experience interior design in a whole new way. Interior design with Nandina means experiencing design consulting that is personalized, collaborative, principled, and focused on creating “real homes for those who live real lives.”

The little details matter.

A tray for perfume.
A beautiful mirror.
Textures that soften the space.

What’s one thing you always keep on your vanity?

Every piece in this room tells a story.

The artwork traces what came before—Principal Designer Susan’s previous home, the one Nandina was ultimately named after. A special nod to history, layered into the present alongside a hand-drawn etching of her father’s childhood home.

From there, it becomes about feel.
Texture in the walls.
Pattern in the pillows.
A balance of structure and softness.

Because the best rooms are built over time.

How designers make a kitchen feel finished:

mix materials, don’t match them
layer in texture wherever you can
add pieces that feel like they’ve been collected over time

It’s less about perfection, more about balance.

At Newbridge Polo Club, the clubhouse is the center of it all.
A gathering space designed for everything from post-match cocktails to slow afternoons with friends.
Rooted in tradition, but made to be lived in.
Layered with natural materials, warm tones, and pieces that feel collected over time.

This living room has all the right ingredients: good light, warm wood, a mix of shapes and textures, and pieces that feel lived in.

Nothing overdone, just a space you actually want to sit in.

Your bedroom should feel like an exhale.

Soft layers, warm tones, and pieces that invite you to slow down.
Designed with intention so it feels calm, lived-in, and entirely yours.

An everyday oasis. 🤍

Homes shouldn’t be designed for a single chapter.
They should evolve with the people who live in them.

From young families to quieter seasons of life, thoughtful design allows spaces to shift naturally— without losing their foundation.

We’re sharing how we approach longevity in design in our latest Substack: Designing Homes That Age With You.

Our spring moodboard.

We’re always drawing inspiration from the world around us—
nature, texture, light, and the quiet details that stand the test of time.

Rooted in a sense of timelessness, and a belief that design should feel collected, not contrived.
