Since 1988, they've been helping homeowners throughout the Houston area with sprinkler repairs, drainage solutions, and landscape lighting. More importantly, they've chosen to invest in something even more valuable—community.

Their generous support helps Green Thumb continue creating opportunities for neighbors to connect, learn, and grow together through programs like Plant Bingo™, community meetups, plant swaps, educational workshops, and youth initiatives.

Cypress, we're coming your way! 🌿

On Saturday, June 20, Green Thumb Collective is partnering with Brew30 Taphouse for a special edition of Plant Bingo™!

This gathering marks only the second time in history that Plant Bingo will be held indoors, giving everyone a comfortable place to enjoy the fun, plants, prizes, food, and community.

We're also making history in another way...

For the first time ever at one of our fundraisers, we'll be hosting a Kids-Only Art & Craft Market! 🎨✨

Young creators will have the opportunity to showcase and sell their handmade artwork, crafts, and creative creations while gaining real-world experience, building confidence, and connecting with the community.

A huge thank you to Brew30 Taphouse for partnering with us and helping create opportunities for both plant lovers and our next generation of entrepreneurs.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but...

You don't have to have it all figured out today.

It's okay if your garden or plants isn't perfect.
It's okay if your project is moving slower than you hoped.
It's okay if you're tired, overwhelmed, or wondering if your efforts are making a difference.

Growth doesn't always look like progress on the surface. Sometimes growth is simply showing up one more day. Watering the plant. Sending the message for help. And being there even when nothing seems to work.

The strongest trees don't grow overnight, and neither do strong communities.

If nobody has told you lately, we're proud of you for continuing to try. Keep planting seeds, whether they're in the soil, in your family, in your friendships, or in your community. You may not see the results yet, but that doesn't mean they're not taking root.

Today, we're excited to officially welcome The Lemonade Lot™ as a program of Green Thumb Collective.

Some may wonder why a gardening organization is creating opportunities for young entrepreneurs.

The answer comes back to our three pillars:

🌱 Community
🌱 Education
🌱 Wellness

The Lemonade Lot supports all three.

This past week, we witnessed something special. During our community gathering at the Tomball Railroad Depot Plaza, five families participated in our first Lemonade Lot meetup. Our youngest entrepreneur was just 3 years old. Parents and children alike loved the experience, and it was incredible to watch young people proudly serve customers, interact with their community, and build confidence one cup at a time.

Community happens when neighbors gather, encourage one another, and invest in the next generation.

Education happens when young people learn communication skills, money management, customer service, problem-solving, and responsibility through real-world experiences.

Wellness happens when children build confidence, independence, self-esteem, and pride in something they created themselves.

Over the last few days, we've watched young entrepreneurs greet customers, make change, solve challenges, think creatively, and discover what they're capable of. Those lessons extend far beyond a cup of lemonade.

The Lemonade Lot isn't about selling lemonade.

It's about creating safe, supportive opportunities where young people can practice life skills, build confidence, and earn their first dollar.

Every successful adult was once a kid with an idea.

Sometimes all they need is a chance.
