A Plant Bingo Murder Mystery
by Green Thumb Collective

🌿☠️ SOMETHING DEADLY IS GROWING...

Plant Bingo may be getting a little... suspicious.

A body has been found.

Five plants are suspects.

And somewhere between the bingo rounds, the truth will begin to grow. πŸ‘€

Listen carefully.
Follow the clues.
Question everything.

Because one seemingly innocent plant has a deadly secret.

Who killed Professor Fernsworth?

Coming soon... maybe. πŸ˜πŸ”ŽπŸŒ±

I've been thinking a lot lately about what actually makes Green Thumb different.

Plant Bingo has grown like crazy. There are new games popping up everywhere now, and people have a lot more choices than they did when we started doing this three years ago.

And you know what? That's okay.

Because the more I thought about it, the more I realized Green Thumb was never supposed to just be a Plant Bingo company.

Plant Bingo is just one of the ways we bring people together.

We do plant swaps. Coffee Crawls. Trunk-O-Treat. Gives Back events. Family activities. We support local businesses and nonprofits. Sometimes we honestly just come up with something fun because we think our community would enjoy it. πŸ˜‚

That's who we are.

Even the little things at our Plant Bingo games have started meaning more to me.

When you bring a plant, you're not just bringing something so you can play. You're bringing something another person gets excited about taking home.

When you get one of our stickers, I want you to eventually look at that thing and remember where you were, who you were with, and how much fun you had.

When you show up for one of our Gives Back events with a donation, you're helping someone who might not even know your name.

And when you come back to another Green Thumb event and start recognizing people from the last one...well, that's exactly what I've wanted this to become.

I don't want Green Thumb to feel like a company you're buying something from.

I want it to feel like a community you're part of.

We're still figuring this whole thing out as we grow. We'll probably screw some things up along the way. We'll try new ideas. Some will work and some probably won't. πŸ˜‚

But I don't ever want us to lose the reason we started doing any of this in the first place.

Plants brought a lot of us together.

The people are why we keep coming back. πŸ’šπŸŒ±

Yours truly,
Andrew Amador

Rest easy, Dolly Parton. πŸ’”

Thank you for all the wonderful years you gave us, but even more, thank you for the way you included people. You had a warm heart and a way of making people from all walks of life feel welcome. The world knew you for your music, but I think your kindness will be remembered just as much.

80 years of life, love, laughter, and a whole lot of rhinestones. ❀️ You can rest easy now.

Thank you, Dolly. You will be forever missed.

🌱 Why does Green Thumb ask you to bring a plant to Plant Bingo?

It’s one of our most common questions, especially now that Plant Bingo games can be found all over the Houston area.

The answer comes down to what Green Thumb was built to do: create community through plants. πŸ’š

Green Thumb Collective is a registered nonprofit organization. We don't own a nursery or plant shop, and Plant Bingo isn't a marketing tool to sell another product or service. Many other games are hosted by businesses, nurseries, realtors, or individuals who can provide plants as part of their business or marketing expenses.

Our model has always been a little different.

🌱 You bring a healthy plant for someone else to win.
🌱 Your neighbor brings one that YOU might win.
🌱 The more plants our community brings, the more prizes we can hand out.
🌱 And everyone is a winner β€” every participant goes home with at least one small plant!

Instead of Green Thumb purchasing dozens or even hundreds of plants and passing that expense along through higher ticket prices, our community helps build the prize table together.

That helps us keep our ticket prices affordable and competitive while creating something we think is even more valuable: an experience centered around community and sharing.

And we've been doing it this way for a while! Green Thumb is proud to have been among the early Plant Bingo games in the Greater Houston area, starting our games about three years ago β€” long before Plant Bingo became as common as it is today.

For us, the plants are only part of the experience.

It's the cheering when someone wins. The stranger sitting next to you who isn't a stranger by the end. The plant you brought going home with someone who's genuinely excited to have it. And knowing that everybody leaves with something.

Bring more plants, and we get to give away more plants. πŸͺ΄

That's Plant Bingo by Green Thumb Collective.

Community provides the plants.
Green Thumb provides the experience.
And everyone gets to share in it. πŸ’šπŸŒ±
