Pine and Ponder Tree Service LLC is hiring a groundsman.

Position is part-time Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, hours are 8:30am-4:30pm.

Jobsites are located throughout Kitsap County, reliable transportation is required.

Pay is $25/hour and up (DOE).

Qualifications:

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to safely operate chainsaws, chippers, and dump trucks.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work well with a team.
• Previous groundsman / landscape experience preferred but not required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting climber and other crew members in tree pruning, limbing and removals.
• Properly maintain, prepare and operate chainsaws, chippers, and pruning equipment.
• Haul and chip brush and debris, leaving the work site clean and clear.
• Responsive to visual cues and hand signals from the climber.
• Collaborate with team members to execute tree care tasks.
