If your kid asks for a hacky sack, you will Google them and see "crocheted". When you realize that, you will make her one. If you make her one, she will take it to softball. When she takes it to softball, "a few" teammates will want one as well. If a few teammates want one, the whole varsity team will want one. If the varsity team wants them, the JV team will too. Then you be extra and order their colors for yarn and the right "filling". If you order the school colors, you will then spend 2 weeks making 19 of those fu***ng things. If you make 9 first, you will spend the weekend making 8 more. If you wake up and realize today's going to be an intense game, you will take the materials to work to finish the last two during meetings to try and pep them up. If you spend 2 weeks and $125 making 19 of these bastards, the baseball team will want them. When the baseball team asks for them you will say "absolutely fu***ng not". My separation anxiety ridden baby chewed at my couch cover when I was out of town (that's why I have it 🤷). Which honestly, I hated because it was too big and didn't cover the chaise section. I scoured the interwebs and found nothing I liked (I wanted red to go with my red\gray living room) so I gave up. But today I swung by goodwill omw home from work and found this red blanket for 5$. I brought it home, washed it and cut it all up to put my extremely novice sewing skills to work. And I don't hate it 🤷
