Now You See It, Now You Don't: The Great Backyard Disappearing Act 🎩✨**

Today’s project was pure magic. Well, magic plus tools and a whole lot of sweat.

demolition of an old, eyesore of an above-ground pool. Channeling our inner Houdini, we went to work.
Here is how the disappearing act went down:

🪄 The Disappearing Act: Step-by-Step

* **The Great Escape (Draining):** First, we had to get millions of gallons of water out of the way. (Luckily the customer had already started this process.

* **The Slicing Illusion (The Liner):** Once empty, the old, sun-cracked liner was sliced and diced into manageable pieces.

* **The Vanishing Wall (The Frame):** This is where the real muscle came in. Unscrewing, cutting, and collapsing the metal walls until the giant footprint completely vanished.

> **Before:** A massive, outdated metal circle taking up half the yard.
> **After:** Wide open space, a clean slate, and endless possibilities. 

It’s amazing how a few hours of hard work can completely change the energy of a yard. One minute it’s a relic of summers past, and the next—*poof*—it’s gone!

At High Tide Handyman, we take pride in the work we do—and we take even more pride in the flag we live under. This Flag Day, we’re pausing the drills and saws to celebrate the Stars and Stripes.

Whether it’s flying high on your porch or waving in the coastal breeze, Old Glory represents the strength, hard work, and community that make our neighborhood great.

🛠️ Flag Day To-Do List:

• Check your hardware: Ensure your flag bracket is secure before those summer winds pick up.
• Illuminate: If you’re flying the flag at night, make sure your outdoor lighting is shining bright.
• Retire with respect: If your flag is looking a little weathered, remember to dispose of it properly (check with our local VFW or American Legion!).

🛥️ The 68th Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament is officially here in Morehead City! 🛥️

With tournament dates running from June 5th through June 14th, the excitement at the docks is just getting started.

As a local business serving the Carteret County area, I’m looking forward to seeing those massive marlin brought to the scales at Big Rock Landing.

🐟Tournament Schedule Highlights:

• Main Tournament Fishing: Monday, June 9th – Saturday, June 14th

• Fishing Hours: Lines are in from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily

• Public Weigh-ins: Head down to the docks around 4:00 PM each day to see the catches

Good luck to all the captains and crews heading out to the "Big Rock" this week. Tight lines and safe travels back to the dock! 🇺🇸
