Making Pets Comfortable Before Moving Day

Moving with pets takes a little extra planning, but it can make a big difference in helping them feel safe and comfortable during the transition. Before moving day, schedule a vet visit, update ID tags and microchip information, and pack a dedicated “pet essentials” bag with food, toys, medications, and comfort items. On moving day, create a quiet space away from the activity to help reduce stress and anxiety.
