Our favorite portraits came to life this week for the annual industry Halloween party, and the commute over was half the fun. We were a hit with fellow riders on the T.

More exciting Franklin Cummings Tech news! 🎉

The new building has been selected as an Outstanding Design in the 2026 American School and University Magazine Architectural Portfolio. FC Tech was among 9 national post-secondary schools selected for the award.

The magazine's annual Architectural Portfolio program recognizes innovative educational environments that advance learning while responding to the evolving needs of students and communities.

This year's honorees will be featured in the November/December issue of American School & University.

We are so excited to announce that Franklin Cummings Tech has received a Citation of Excellence Award for Community Investment from LEARNING BY DESIGN! The design is among 75 national award-winning submissions featured in the issue.

The new FC Tech building is 32% smaller than its predecessor, but now serves 83% more students with a 20% increase in applications. The flexible classrooms and visibility into learning spaces create a welcoming learning environment for the student community. We're proud that this design is making a positive impact on the lives of the student body and surrounding community.

We have some exciting news to share from Studio G Architects!

Beginning January 1, 2027, Gabriela Shelburne will become Managing Principal as our founder, Gail Sullivan, begins a planned transition toward retirement at the end of 2027.

Gabriela has been part of the Studio G Architects family since 2011, becoming Principal in 2024 and leading our Housing Studio. Over the years, she has helped shape our work and advance the values that have guided Studio G Architects for more than three decades.

Throughout 2027, Gail will remain actively involved as Principal, working alongside Gabriela as we celebrate her extraordinary leadership and the firm she has built.

We’re incredibly proud of where Studio G Architects has been and excited about where we’re headed next. Most importantly, we’re grateful for the clients, collaborators, communities, and friends who have been part of the journey.
