The double-height open living space of our Hudson River Valley House project.

A window wall surrounds the interior courtyard bringing in its landcape of birch, ferns, moss, and a reflecting pool. Large sapele windows are strategically placed to capture views.

A subdued material and color palette was used for both this project’s architecture and interiors. Paired the furnishings’ light, muted tones, the resultant space is bright, airy, and happy.

Working with our wonderful clients, we designed this home’s architecture and interiors to the very last detail such as the planted glass terrariums.

Custom-profile western red cedar siding boards set vertically create a serrated facade whose shadows change over the course of the day.
