When a hidden leak ruins a subfloor, you can't just tile over it. I took this one down to the bare framing, rebuilt the structural woodwork, and waterproofed it completely before laying the new tile floor.

I take a lot of pride in making sure the stuff you don’t see behind the walls is built just as well as the finished tile.

One of my favorite views from a recent bathroom remodel.

The large shower window brings in plenty of natural light and makes the space feel even bigger. It's always satisfying to see a project come together and see the finished vision take shape.

They’re just tired of the old fiberglass shower, tired of the dated look, and ready for something that feels cleaner, sturdier, and built to last.

A solid tile floor starts long before the first tile is set. 🔨

​I’m sharing a look at a demo I handled in the Greensboro area that had a unique structural setup. This is a classic recessed mud bed, where the concrete was poured between the floor joists to create a massive, heavy base.

​At Floors 'N More, I make it a point to strip every bathroom down to the original joists. It’s the best way to inspect the structure and ensure the new foundation is perfectly level and built to modern standards.

A tile shower should drain properly from day one. No puddling. No standing water. Just clean drainage and solid shower prep underneath the tile.
