🚿 It's All in the Details!

Quarter-round tile trim adds a timeless, vintage touch to a custom tile shower!

For this shower, I used ceramic quarter-round edging throughout, including along the curb and wall transitions. The softly rounded edges create a classic, finished look that complements the white subway tile and marble hexagon shower floor.

Sometimes it's the smaller details that really bring a tile installation together! 👌

Water damage doesn't always stop at the surface!

On this bathroom project, water running off the bathtub had caused damage to the floor, particularly around the corners.

Once I started removing the old flooring, the extent of the damage became more apparent.

After removing the damaged materials, I installed new framing and blocking, rebuilt the subfloor, and finished the project with a new tile floor.

It's a good example of why addressing what's underneath the flooring is just as important as the finished surface.

At Floors ’N More, we handle subfloor repairs as well as tile and flooring installation throughout Greensboro, Browns Summit, and the surrounding Triad.

A leaking shower can do serious damage to the subfloor underneath.

Once this shower is opened up, the extent of the damage becomes clear. I remove the damaged material, repair the subfloor, and then rebuild the shower properly from the ground up.

Look who finally decided to show up to work again. ☕😂

The yellow mug is back.

Nice clean backsplash installation—and apparently it has the yellow mug seal of approval.

Sometimes you get called back to work on your own work… 20 years later. 😄

I originally installed the tile floor in this half bath around 2004–2005. Years later, a new homeowner—and existing customer of mine—called me back to give the room an update.

Pretty cool to come back two decades later and work on the same house again.

Quite a difference from where this one started!

I removed the old fiberglass shower and transformed the space into a full custom tile shower with a tiled shower floor, built-in niche, and tiled ceiling.

If a new tile shower or bathroom remodel is on your list, now is a good time to start planning. I’m currently working on my fall schedule.

Here’s the water-in, water-out shower pan system I use on my custom tile showers.

No foam or plastic shower floors — just a traditional mortar shower pan built to properly manage water and last.

In this video, I explain how the system works and why I build my showers this way.
