Some clean up work to open up the view today

All on the ground and wrapped up. Knowing the wood you are working with and how it acts, along with the rate it tends to decay, is very valuable knowledge in situations like these. Its a lot of inspecting as you go, being aware of the feel of the wood and confident rigging. We set this tree up, supported the stem and rigged the top out in about 4 pieces to a tree alongside….. removed 2 fence panels and let the tree down while swinging it between two other small trees that acted as guides all the way to the ground. It seems like a small, simple job, but underestimating something like this can easily come back to bite you.

Regrinds on some stumps that were previously done pretty poorly. We took care of the mess so that the yard could be cleaned up and smoothed out

A quick grind this morning for a return customer and some work for the neighbor tomorrow

Wrapped this one up today. We ground 2 stumps out front and 2 out back. The one big one out back had tons of surface roots to chase but we took the crown out of the ground and made it a much nicer area to mow and enjoy once the grass comes in.
