A Little Tropics, A Lot of Hope! ✨

This wardrobe has been given new life with a beautiful blend of creativity and inspiration! 🌿💚

Painted in Celtic Fog by Wise Owl, this piece was sealed with Wise Owl’s One Hour Enamel in Matte Finish for a lovely, lasting finish. The gorgeous tropical paper, The Tropics by Mint by Michelle, adds the perfect touch of island charm! 🌴

The Wise Owl paint and topcoat were purchased at The Thrifty Turtle in North Fort Myers, where my friend Rose, from Roses Untold Stories, carries all things Wise Owl! ❤️

🙏 Romans 15:13 (NIV)
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

May this wardrobe be a beautiful reminder that God fills our hearts with hope, joy, and peace! ✨

🛍️ Coming tomorrow! This tropical beauty will be available for purchase at Cape Coral re:MADE Stop by and see her in person!

My heart is so full ♥️ I donated this chair to Mission K9 Warriors for their fund raising auction. This organization gives services dogs to folks fighting PTSD.
They auctioned the chair off and the Folks from Red Beard Trucking paid $300 for the chair. Every little bit raised will go towards a service dog. Grateful to be apart of such a great organization.

✨ THE SISTERS ✨
“I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
— Psalm 139:14 💙

Meet “The Sisters”—a beautiful dresser and chest of drawers that were made to complement each other! 💕 I love how furniture can be given a new life, and these two certainly received a beautiful transformation.

🎨 Paint:
Both pieces were painted in Wise Owl Snow Owl, purchased from Roses Untold Stories at The Thrifty Turtle. The gorgeous teal was a custom mix of Snow Owl and Debi’s Design Diary DIY Bohemian Blue that I purchased Pineapple Picasso creating the perfect shade to complement the teal tones in the transfer.

🌿 Transfer:
The stunning re•design by Prima “In Truth Beauty” rub-on transfer adds so much character and beauty. This gorgeous transfer was purchased from Etsy.

🌹 The details:
I poured my own resin roses and covered them with Kacha’s Imitation Gold Leaf, then carried that beautiful gold detail down to the feet of both pieces. ✨

Both pieces were sealed with Wise Owl Matte Varnish for a durable, beautiful finish.

And let’s talk about the drawers! 🥰 The insides received a fresh scent of Wise Owl White Tea Furniture Salve. Oh, how I wish you could smell this! It not only leaves the drawers smelling wonderful, but it also helps revitalize dry wood. 💕
The two Sisters will be going into Cape Coral re:MADE

Doing something I have never donebefore, painting on my bathroom wall. I am on day 4 and I just looked down at my paint table . What a mess!!! Made me think of the Matthew West song “ My Story Your Glory” there is a line in the song that says

My story, Your glory. My pain, Your purpose. My mess, Your message."
I see the mess but God sees the beautiful flower. Eventually there will be an end process to this project but for now I see the mess. God is constantly writing our story …… keep going , may be a mess now but God is not finished with you yet.

My Last Bookcase: A Labor of Love & A Little Faith ✨

My latest bookcase is complete, and I wanted to share the process behind this vintage wallpaper-inspired piece!

I started by painting the body and shelves with Debi’s Design Diary DIY Clay Paint in Vintage Linen. I primed the back wall with Wise Owl Primer, which gives the raised stencil something to grip onto.

Next, I mixed joint compound with a little Dixie Belle Sea Spray to thicken the compound. I had purchased these beautiful tropical leaf stencils from JRV (Jamie Ray Vintage) some time ago and thought they would be perfect for this bookcase. 🌿

I placed the stencil where I wanted it, applied a thin layer of the compound, and carefully lifted the stencil. Once the raised leaves were completely dry, I lightly sanded them smooth. I then sprayed Krylon Clear Matte over each leaf to help prevent the joint compound from lifting while I painted.

Now the fun really began! 🎨

I painted Wise Owl Celtic Fog that I purchased fromRoses Untold Stories at The Thrifty Turtle over the raised stencil, giving it two coats. Then I added color washes of Debi’s Design Diary DIY Clay Paint in Walk on Water, Monet’s Garden, and Bohemian Blue to each individual leaf. All DIY Clay paint was purchased Pineapple Picasso

Once that dried, I dry-brushed Wise Owl Blush over the raised leaves to bring out their beautiful shapes. I finished by brushing on a little Debi’s Design Diary DIY Golden Ticket for just the right touch of shimmer. ✨

My goal was to create the look of vintage wallpaper, and I love how the layers of color and texture came together!

Finally, I protected the entire piece with two coats of Wise Owl Matte Clear Coat.

And, of course, this project is about more than paint and furniture. As I finish this chapter, this verse reminds me that faith means believing even when we can’t yet see the finished picture.

Romans 4:20–21 (KJV)
“And he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded, that what he had promised, he was able also to perform.”

This bookcase is currently available for purchase at Cape Coral re:MADE❤️
