John Batson brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table from his previous career as a building inspector, flood manager, and zoning administrator. For 20 years, he was responsible for all development related activities in the Town of Kure Beach. His knowledge of high wind,

coastal, and flood construction is unrivalled. He has also been a volunteer fireman for Carolina and Kure Beach for almost 20 years, and runs a charter fishing operation based out of Carolina Beach.
