Sharing some garden joy with the best hairstylist Denver Metro has… Avery from Skye Salon (in Centennial). Each session is part hair coloring/cut and part therapy. I always leave feeling so amazing!! Thanks Avery for all that you do ❤️

Yesterday I toured eight gardens all around Arapahoe County thanks to the CSU Extension Arapahoe County Gardens of Distinction tour. It took us from 8 am to 2 pm ( with a nice ‘lil lunch stop in between with my friend Karli Millspaugh | small biz owner ) and we saw some beautiful community gardens and asked lots and lots of questions.

I want to grow some of the larger zinnias and add eggplant in my garden next year after seeing how pretty they grow in our area. If you live in Arapahoe County, I’d encourage you to follow the extension’s IG so you’ll know about their next free events!

I had forgotten all about out the peony blooms in my fridge since the end of May (simply wrapped in paper towels and put in a ziplock bag). What a joy to get to enjoy them months later!

I was happy to stumble upon the newly opened Castlewood Gardens in Franktown, CO this past weekend to purchase a beautiful multi-branch tree for our front yard. Love that they offer delivery and planting options. Make time for exploring all of the beautiful fountains on the property and the large amount of greenhouses to explore. You’ll enjoy this nursery!

I don’t cuss a lot, but when I do, it usually involves finding MORE landscape fabric in my garden even though I’ve lived in this house over six years and thought it was all gone!!
