grandson of our founder, Dr. Francis Bartlett has served as the CEO since 1974
• The world-class R.A Bartlett Tree Research Laboratory and Arboretum located in Charlotte, North Carolina is
staffed with six PhD’s and support staff that conduct ground-breaking arboricultural research, provide plant problem
diagnosis, as well as technical training to our arborist representatives and production arborists.
• Our company values safety as our number one priority. Our production arborists are thoroughly trained in safe
work practices and our company has received numerous industry safety awards over the last decade.

scholarships to horticulture and forestry schools. The Bartlett Foundation was established in 1985 beginning
support of Penn State, Virginia Tech and Paul Smiths College. We now support twenty-nine programs throughout
the United States.
• Our company presently operates throughout the United States, England, Ireland and Canada. Every Bartlett office
operates independently with the support of the Bartlett Tree Research Lab and our Home Office in Stamford,

🌱🚿 Drought Conditions & Tree Care Reminder 🚿🌱
With the continued dry weather, our trees are feeling the stress just like we are. Even established trees can struggle during drought conditions, so proper watering is essential to keep them healthy and strong.
💧 Tips for watering trees during a drought:

Water deeply, not frequently – A slow, deep soak encourages roots to grow deeper and become more resilient.

Focus on the root zone – Water around the drip line (the area beneath the outer edges of the branches), not just the trunk.

Add mulch – A 2–3 inch layer of mulch helps retain moisture and keeps roots cool (keep it a few inches away from the trunk).
