Some kitchens are worth another look.
We’ve shared this James Island renovation before, but this time around, it’s the smaller details that caught our attention.
The warmth of the wood against the white cabinetry. The stone carried into the kitchen instead of stopping in the adjoining space. The brass details. The storage that takes advantage of every bit of height. And a breakfast nook positioned exactly where you’d want to spend a slow morning.
None of those decisions need to scream for attention on their own.
Together, though, they’re what make the room feel finished.
That’s something we think about a lot when renovating a home: the best spaces aren’t always defined by one big feature. They’re defined by how well all the little decisions work together.
And yeah… we’d still happily have our morning coffee here.
