We enjoyed our East Coast summer holiday, which included Boston; Connecticut to visit family; Watch Hill, RI, for the beach; and a My Chemical Romance concert in DC for our 15 year old. I wish I had taken more photos, especially with family, but it was nice to just be immersed in the experience. We are now gearing up for the school year when people return from their vacations, send the kids back to school, and suddenly feel the itch to redecorate!

My mother always asks me, “What color is the most timeless for a kitchen?” In 15 years, my answer hasn’t changed—the upgraded take on a white kitchen is cream or a complex cream, a.k.a. pale greige. Our doll of a client has a charming house with timeless
architecture; however, it had an 80’s style kitchen in need of an update. We changed the layout to make it more functional, replaced the cabinetry, and added thoughtful finishes. Now the kitchen more accurately reflects the beautiful architecture 💙💙💙

I was teasing my husband and said that since our anniversary and my birthday (tomorrow) are so close together, I only get one The Flower Diva, Inc. bouquet. Well I guess he was trying to make it up to me because today’s delivery needs a drone to properly video 😄

Swipe for the before ➡️➡️➡️ Happy Friday! Our client’s kitchen recently got a refresh. The cabinets were in good condition and well-made, so we painted them in an off-white deep sage. We also added a beautiful quartzite countertop, switched out the plumbing and hardware, and added a new tile backsplash.
