IT’S TIME…. 🎄❤️🥂🎁
I’m so honored to share this Foxcroft home, featured in Southern Home Magazine and dressed for the season. The foyer has garland tied with ribbon, the tree is layered with ribbons in every shade, there are needlepoint stockings on the mantel and Hank, the bernadoodle makes the room complete!

My clients came to me with a binder full of inspiration and asked for color combinations I’d never put together: vivid greens, lavender, grown-up pinks and soft blues. For the holidays, we layered the season into that palette instead of letting it take over. It’s festive, and it still feels like them.

My favorite surprises are the hidden doors, including one to a bourbon collection (very handy this time of year 🥃). The home is bold, joyful and polished, it’s lived in every day, and it’s even more special with all the holiday twinkle. ✨

One table, four seasons. 🕯️

I love setting this table. The room stays the same, and what changes is the linens, the flowers and the candlelight. Spring is soft poppies and blush stripes. Summer is cheerful plaid and brass. Fall turns golden with mustard linen and amber votives. Winter is my favorite. It’s deep red ranunculus, transferware and those green spotted candlesticks I’ll never part with.

A beautiful table doesn’t have to start over every season. Keep a few pieces you love and build around them.

The next stop in my Designer’s Guide Travel Series: Tangier. 🇲🇦

One of my favorite things about traveling is discovering how differently people live, create, and tell their stories through design. Tangier was no exception.

The layers of color, the beautiful textiles, the intricate details, the architecture, and the unexpected mix of old and new. Everywhere I looked, there was something that caught my eye.

I’m constantly collecting inspiration, whether it’s a color combination I hadn’t considered, a beautifully worn piece of furniture, or the way a room feels so effortlessly collected! I will forever be dreaming about this trip!

If you caught yesterday’s post, ‘Life of a Throw Pillow’… pillows are often the smallest pieces in the room, but often the ones we spend the most time on. 🐚 Every pillow is designed for exactly where it lives: the scale of the bed, the depth of the sofa, how it’ll be leaned on and lived with. Then come the details, like trim, piping, a monogram or a ruffle.
