Our mission is to provide thoughtful design and create meaningful spaces. We believe that life informs design and form follows function. haywoodmade is led by Kelsey Haywood, a start-up business maven turned entrepreneur, who values beautiful relationships as much as beautiful design. The haywoodmade aesthetic draws inspiration from elements found in nature. We curate a mix of color, materials and

layers to achieve spaces that shine. Kelsey grew up in a small town in Indiana and comes from a family of builders and makers. That background instilled a deep work ethic and trained vision at the core of her being. She now lives in a 1920s bungalow with her husband and three children. At haywoodmade, we treat our clients like a guest in our home; come on in and together we will create new possibilities for your space.

Big fan of ambient lighting. Bigger fan of how it completely transforms a space.

Pro tip: limit the use of harsh overheads and layer your light sources instead. Sconces, pendants, chandeliers and flush mounts are the secret to making a new build feel warm and grounded with lightingāœØ

A full 4ļøāƒ£ days of High Point market discovering new to us vendors, meeting vendors in person Iā€™ve worked with for years, seeing the new collections from our favorites, sitting in more seats than is quantifiable, all in the name of getting the best product for our clients. I love when I see something and can feel in my bones the client will love it too. I even got chills a couple of times because certain pieces are PERFECT for some of our projects right now. Iā€™m so grateful to have this profession and love it (even when itā€™s hard). Energized and ready to take on the rest of the week šŸ’Ŗ

New build projects are a journey. When the clients were just beginning to think about the possibilities of their land in Door County, we were part of the conversation and began imagining what this home could be for their family. How it would flow, how the two clients aesthetics would blend into one, how they could spend different seasons of life in this home and how it would evolve over time. Simply put, we considered their nuances of daily life and wanted to create as much ease as possible.

With a Kline Interiors build we donā€™t just design and make selections. We deeply consider what our clients need. In Ephraim we placed every bank of light switches, designed every bit of millwork, every arch, planned furniture layouts to take in the views, and our clients were at the heart of every decision.
