Yesterday, WasteNot donated finished compost to the Edible Evanston Food Forest @ Eggleston Park - a program of 🌱
Maintained in cooperation with the , the food forest is a diverse, integrated planting of perennial trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants—including edible fruits, vegetables, nuts and herbs— using permaculture principles. Food grown from the forest is donated to a variety of food pantries in Evanston.
WasteNot is proud to support this circular community project as part of our municipal partnership with the City of Evanston.
