Todays development.
Houston, we have a problem.....
That wall is NOT supposed to be flopping around like that.😳🤯😢
Clients had mentioned this door was hard to open sometimes 🤣.

Solution...... Take this wall down, temporarily support the roof rafters and build a new wall and door opening👍💪🔨

Floor is Framed in and SOLID!!!
Thing of beauty, nice and level, no deflection, minimal bounce, just like a floor should be.
Now that we have something solid to work off, we can set our sights on the walls.

Ok friends and followers, The floor is finally out!!!!!🤩🎉
Cement footing in place has been sured up and reinforced.
Starting to snap level lines for the new framing.
This is a turning point in the project; from here on we are building back rather than tearing out!👷‍♂️🛠🔨
Off to the dump with the FOURTH trailer load!🤦‍♂️

Check out the poor condition of this framing!!!!!
We knew it would be bad, but we were Floored at the condition (see what I did there🤣).
Undersized joists, scabbed together and toe-nailed into dry-rotten floating ledger boards.😟 It is honestly amazing this floor didn't just collapse at some point!
Not done with the Demo yet, all this framing os coming OUT!!!💪

This tri-tone kitchen we just completed in Hadley, MA blends warmth, contrast, and craftsmanship into a truly functional chef’s space.
