PSA here for all plant customers!!
Unfortunately it's that time of year when the freezing temperatures are here and the great outdoors is no longer "plant safe" here in Ohio :( I know..
I sent out individual reminders the other day to those with pending orders, but wanted to put out a public notice for future orders as well.
Due to experiences this year -
I will no longer hold any orders over 24 hours for pickup unless your order is paid IN FULL when the order is placed. After 2 weeks, there will then be an additional $5 STORAGE AND CARE fee added each week until order is picked up.
I do this Spring-Fall -
#1 Due to being so busy. I can not just "reserve" plants, when they could be sold to many other customers asking.
I do this in the Winter -
Due to the same reasons Spring - Fall, but also due to overcrowding in the greenhouse trying to keep everything in the heat to ensure healthy plants for you all. I have to keep plants moving in and out constantly, I have very limited storage space.
Purchasing plants in the Winter, they will only have a 48 hour guarantee. Even with heat, greenhouse temperatures can be unpredictable when it comes to freezing temperatures.
All of this is done to ensure and maintain the health and beauty of the plants for you all! As well as to maintain a good flow of plants moving in and out :) We only want the BEST for our customers
Also, keep in mind, small businesses are more than just "A business".
It is also someone's career, their income and sometimes their livelihood. Always remember, there's a regular, real person behind the interaction.
