We’ve got so many raspberries coming in and they’re so delicious. I love this variety because it produces several times a year and it’s a very abundant producer of absolutely delicious raspberries. It’s an old heirloom variety that I’ve never been able to find again. It was handed down to a friend of mine that I met at add an intentional community and it’s been handed down for generations. They don’t have an official name for it, but they’ve called it “Homesteader Raspberry” so that’s what we call it. Not only does. This variety produce an abundant amount of berries several times a year, but the plants also spread more prolifically than any other variety I’ve ever had so if you’re looking to fill in a raspberry patch quickly, this is the variety for you. It can maintain if you keep it in pot so no worries you get the best of both options!

Salting the eggplants and letting them sit. I’ll rinse them and work with them later today, once the bitter compounds are drawn out. I haven’t harvested in 2 days so I’m sure there are a lot more out there still. That will be for another day.
