Are you a skilled security systems pro who takes pride in solving problems and keeping clients protected? Gillmore Security Systems is looking for a Commercial Service Technician to join our team of experts.

In this role, you'll be the hands-on expert our commercial clients count on: servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fire alarm, access control, and video surveillance systems across Northeast Ohio. If you love a challenge, enjoy variety in your workday, and take satisfaction in a job done right, this could be the perfect fit.

What you'll do:
Install, service, and maintain commercial security systems including fire alarms, access control, and CCTV. Troubleshoot alarm panels, wiring, and field devices. Program, diagnose, and repair systems. Read blueprints and electrical plans. Test systems for code compliance, train customers on-site, and keep detailed service records, all while delivering the top-notch customer experience Gillmore is known for.

What we're looking for:
Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems (fire alarm, access control, CCTV/video), the ability to read technical diagrams and schematics, sharp troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver's license with a clean record. Comfortable working independently, lifting equipment, and working at heights or in confined spaces. Prior experience in commercial security system installation or service is preferred - seven or more years in the fire and security industry is a big plus.
