Watch how our smoke pen pinpoints hidden air leaks around doors and ducts during a blower door test. Where is your home letting outside air in?

This is a nice little automotive shop install, Dylan and Jaiden are some of the finest technicians around and their craftsmanship and attention to detail is as good as any. On top of that, Christian came in a week after installation and fully commissioned the system. Testing and proving versus guessing.

-Two Stage Heat Pump
Our base system is a two stage system with variable speed available. This allows for extended run times, less cycling, more filtration and better latent control.

-Aprilaire Media Filter
We install high quality filtration on our installs and size them for low filter face velocity and low pressure drop across the filter. This ensures proper filtration with no bypass and helps with equipment longevity. Did you know we have Merv 16 options that can last years between filter changes?

-Haven IAQ
This is on demand ventilation as well as air quality monitoring. We can install the Haven and adjust it to open dampers, power dehumidifiers/humidifiers, and perform other air quality commands based on personalized needs. Anyone have allergies or asthma? Indoor air can be significantly more polluted than you realize. We can show you.

-MeasureQuick
We utilize MeasureQuick for service and commissioning. We can tune your system to ensure and prove you are getting every BTU you are paying for. You also have documentation of system performance on day one so if performance deviates down the road, we can see trends. Let us prove your performance.

We had a great time today golfing at the MEPO of Oklahoma golf tournament with our friends at Federated Insurance and our new friends at Torch Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling.

Beautiful course, beautiful weather, and ugly guys…it was a great day!

We were successful with our first HAVEN IAQ installation. This system is an add on to your HVAC system that measures indoor air quality and lets your hvac contractor setup automations based off your indoor air quality as well as the outdoor air quality. Anyone in Oklahoma knows pollen, wildfire, and allergies and their effects. We are elevating our business to take on indoor air quality and building science. We want to make your home healthy again.

We used it here to ultimately automate a ventilating dehumidifier and a fresh air damper on demand based on readings from our sensors, I.e. not ventilate when the outside air quality index is at a certain level, dehumidify at a certain dew point, not ventilate at certain outdoor temperatures or dew points. Secondly, it will allow us to see trends over time to ultimately further diagnose issues.

We caught a few samples of some clogged condensate drains. This spring and summer was one of the worst we’ve seen as far as drain calls. The humidity and high heat conditions only compounded things. Ultimately this usually come back to poor filtration.

What are we looking at? It’s mostly dead skin, dust, pollen, and other organic matter. Yum!

This is a great demonstration of filtration, we love Merv 11, 13, and 16!

That being said, you have to be careful though with just tossing a high merv filter in your furnace or air handler, you can cause high static pressure and other issues as they have to be sized to your systems airflow. It’s also why you will see us upsizing our duct and filter racks in our systems.

If you have questions on indoor air quality, filtration, and other comfort issues please feel free to reach out to our office.

Our first National Comfort Institute Summit conference didn’t disappoint. It was held at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Great times, great people, immense amount of learning material. Already planning for next year!

Christian, Robert, and Shaun took various classes on airflow, indoor air quality, customer interaction, and high performance HVAC. It was a pleasure meeting and learning from some of the very best in the business.

Lastly, it was very humbling seeing a whole town mourn the loss of Dolly. Every business with a marquee paid tribute to her. Truly was an American icon.
