Beyond excited!!

Gratitude is an understatement!

Thanks to an extraordinarily generous anonymous gift, the Haywood County Arts Council was able to purchase our permanent home at 196 N Main right here in Waynesville.

That gift bought us the building, and our new Elevate the Arts campaign is how we will transform it into the vibrant home for the arts our community deserves.

This new home gives HCAC an incredible opportunity to create a place where artists can create, students can learn, art can be celebrated, and our community can gather for generations to come.

Our $1.5 million Elevate the Arts Campaign will help us transform the building with a modernized elevator and safe new stairways, beautiful gallery lighting, flexible exhibit walls, affordable artist studios, classrooms and more.

Whether you sponsor a step, a gallery wall, an artist studio, or an entire space, there is a place for you in this story.

Every gift helps us elevate the arts in Haywood County. We can’t wait to share this journey with you!

I’ve made 29 jeans bags (keeping one for myself); adding snaps for closure. The first batch will be available Saturday, September 12th from 11-4 at the Lineside Makers Market at Frog Level.
